TASS provides a home-like environment that offers a unique level of care for individuals not quite ready to go home from the hospital setting. Assistance with personal care, meal preparation, money and time management, community navigation, socialization, vocational assistance and other needs are a critical component to our treatment program. Supported living activities include Meals on Wheels routes, weekly church visits, vacation planning and holiday shopping. All activities provide therapeutic value and help transition clients to community living.
We offer a unique level of care for individuals not quite ready to go home from the hospital setting. The length of stay can vary based on an individual’s goals and weekly progress. Therapy is available five days per week. Both individual and group therapy as well as social and recreational activities are offered on a daily basis. Additional services are provided based on the person's individual needs.
Clients and family members play an active role in goal setting and recovery planning. Evaluations are conducted as clients proceed through treatment being exposed to challenges, community activities and therapeutic opportunities consistent with their goals. Input is sought from the client, the TASS Team and family members to readjust and redefine goals as needed.
